Goldman Sachs Group has named Stacy Bash-Polley as new head of client relationship management and strategy for the Americas.

In her new role, Bash-Polley will work with senior executives across the bank to strengthen client relationships and generate more business. She will also forge stronger ties to money managers, hedge funds and other institutional clients, the three co-heads of Goldman’s securities business.

In addition, she will also lead the firm’s institutional client group, which is managed by Valentino Carlotti.

Bash-Polley will report Tom Cornacchia, global head of fixed-income, currency and commodity sales, alongside Paul Russo, the co-head of the firm’s equities-trading business.

Bash-Polley, who joined Goldman Sachs in 1994, previously worked at the firm’s fixed-income, currencies and commodities trading business serving as head of sales for the US.
