Scherr, who has been working as global head of Goldman’s financing group within the investment banking division since 2008, will continue to maintain his role as head of Latin America.

In addition, he will continue to serve on committees overseeing Goldman’s risk, capital and growth markets.

In his new role, Scherr will focus on exploring opportunities to boost revenue income although the general market conditions don’t improve in the near future.
