UK-based brokering and trading company Global Prime Partners (GPP) has hired Rupert Street to strengthen its presence in Asia, reports HedgeWeek.

In his new role, Street will be responsible to lead the company’s business and client support services throughout the Asian markets. Street will be based in Hong Kong.
Street has more than 20 years of experience in Asian financial markets and investment, which includes managing his own hedge fund and running a family office. Street also provides advisory services to several Hong Kong listed companies.
Julian Parker, CEO of GPP, said: "We welcome Rupert to the GPP team. Rupert has been well known to GPP for over 13 years as a hedge fund client and is well placed to assist GPP expand its marketing reach into SE Asia."
