GenSpring Family Offices, a wealth management firm for UHNW families, has hired Carlos Carreno as managing director for its Florida East region.
Carreno will be based at the firm’s Miami family office. The Florida East Region serves families across eastern and southeast Florida, including Jupiter, Palm Beach and Miami.

Carreno joined GenSpring from SunTrust Private Wealth Management, where he led international wealth management.
He has over 20 years of experience in senior management roles within SunTrust Banks, Kroll and Barclays.
