Gemini Hedge Fund Services has entered into a partnership with Hedge Connection, a marketing platform for alternative investment managers, to further expand its distribution capabilities and help managers strengthen their engagement with accredited investors.

Under the deal, the first year annual membership fee for Hedge Connection’s Capital Club investor introduction service will be waived for managers working with Gemini Hedge.

The Capital Club service comprises detailed investment profiles on a set of allocators who have been interviewed and vetted by Hedge Connection.

Also, managers that work with Gemini Hedge will receive priority access to Hedge Connection events, and will be able to research prospective investors within the platform’s membership database.

Gemini Hedge said that nearly 30% of investors in the Capital Club now have more than $1bn invested in hedge funds, and over 80% of Capital Club allocators will consider emerging managers.

In 2015, Gemini Hedge has expanded its technology suite by launching a portfolio analytics platform and the Gemini Online Account Link (GOAL) portal.
