London-based Fulcrum Asset Management has named Matthew Wright as new director in its sales and marketing team.
In his new role, Wright will be responsible for facilitating the firm’s capabilities within the advised retail and wealth management sector.

Wright will work alongside Fulcrum partner and head of UK wealth management Jeremy Bedford.
Wright joined Fulcrum from NewSmith Asset Management, where he worked as a partner. Prior to this, he worked as head of UK distribution at Carmignac and has also held several sales and marketing roles with Fidelity and UBS Global Asset Management.
Additionally, the firm has also appointed Hannah Barton as a director within its marketing team. Prior to joining Fulcrum, Barton served as head of investor relations at Autonomy Capital and Black Ant.
Bedford said: "Matt’s experience in the wholesale market will prove invaluable to Fulcrum as we continue to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to the expansion of this rapidly growing area of our business."
