Ian McKenna, managing director of F&TRC, said, "The information comes direct from the organisations and is updated daily. It is available free of charge to advisers at www.advisersoftware.com. This will enable advisers to compare different organisations’ processes side by side in a single place so they understand where they need to do different things for different life offices and platforms."

Among the firms featuring on the tool include Aviva, Aegon, Standard Life, Scottish Life, Zurich, Old Mutual Wealth, Novia, Fidelity Funds Network, Alliance Trust Savings, Canada Life, James Hay and Cofunds.

F&TRC expects to include more providers in the service eventually.
