French investigators have reportedly sought to detain ex-UBS wealth managers Dieter Kiefer, Philippe Wick and Olivier Baudry for questioning regarding Swiss lender’s tax evasion lawsuit.
French authorities have issued arrest warrants for Kiefer, Philippe Wick, formerly in charge of French international clientele, and Olivier Baudry, who managed money placed in Switzerland by French clients, in January, reported the Bloomberg news.

Although, the three wealth managers have not been charged with any crime in the warrants but French investigative judges, led by Guillaume Daieff, have requested their arrest after the three executives failed to show up for questioning.
The bank said: "The matter remains in a formal investigation phase, there is nothing more to add at this point."
