Franklin Templeton has unveiled two new multi-asset funds for retail investors in the UK.
The funds, launched on 30 May, include the Franklin Diversified Income fund and the Franklin Diversified Growth fund.

The funds will be managed by for Toby Hayes, who joined last year to build up the firm’s multi-asset offering. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Hayes has previously multi-asset funds at Pacific Investments, Armstrong Investment Managers and Insight Investments.
The Diversified Income Fund seeks a combination of income and longer-term capital appreciation over a rolling five year period.
Both the funds will seek direct and indirect exposure to equities, fixed income securities, cash and equivalents, collective investment schemes and indirect exposure to alternative investments, such as commodities and property.
The Income fund will hit a target of 3% more than the Bank of England’s base rate and net of fees, while the Growth fund will target 5% more than the base rate and net of fees.
