Franklin Templeton Investments Australia has expanded its local investment team by hiring two new in fixed income specialists.

The company has named Chris Siniakov as the new managing director of fixed income, and Andrew Canobi as the new fixed income director.

Both, Siniakov and Canobi have over 20 years of experience in the industry, working closely with institutional and retail clients.

Siniakov previously worked with Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management as the head of fixed income, for Asia Pacific.

Prior to that, he was with Invesco and County Investment Management, as the portfolio manager.

Canobi is also from Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management where he worked as director and senior portfolio manager for global fixed income.
