Franklin Templeton has expanded its Australian fixed-income investment team, by hiring Jennifer Wee and Joshua Rout.
Wee will be appointed as a fixed-income research analyst, and will be responsible for credit research and analysis in her new role.

Wee most recently served in Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management, where she was responsible for credit research for local Australian and offshore portfolio managers.
Apart from this, Wee also served as a corporate ratings analyst at Standard & Poor’s.
Rout will be designated as a junior research analyst and trader in Franklin Templeton.
Prior to this, Rout worked as an investment analyst at JANA Investment Advisers, where he was responsible for macroeconomic and asset allocation research for Jana’s implemented consulting business.
