Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has introduced a new fund called Franklin India Feeder – Franklin European Growth Fund – an open end fund of funds scheme investing overseas.
The fund, which has MSCI Europe Index as its benchmark, will be managed by Neeraj Gaurh.

The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is INR10 per unit, and will be open for subscription from 25 April and closes on 09 May.
The fund scheme is to provide capital appreciation by investing predominantly in units of Franklin European Growth Fund, an overseas equity fund that primarily invests in securities of issuers incorporated or having their principal business in European countries.
Offering growth plan, dividend plan (with reinvestment & payout option), direct-growth plan and direct-dividend plan (with reinvestment & payout option), this fund of fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives.
The minimum application amount is INR5000, and thereafter in multiples of INR1000.

By GlobalDataThe fund plans to allocate 95%-100% of assets in units of Franklin European Growth Fund with medium to high risk profile and 5% of assets in debt securities and money market instruments with low to medium risk profile.
While the fund has no entry load, the exit load is 1% for each purchase of units, if redeemed / switched out within 18 months of allotment.
