FPI has carried out customer research to create customer-centric solutions for the new financial proposition. The solutions have been used to develop tailored materials for expats in Singapore after identifying their attitudes, behaviours, and needs.

FPI global expatriate proposition head Philip Cernik said, "We understand that our customers are looking for relevant and sophisticated financial planning solutions. Combining a targeted marketing approach with valuable support materials, on top of product alignment and customer experience enhancements offers genuine benefits to the customer, across our global expatriate proposition.

"We want to help advisers to build meaningful conversations with customers regardless of where they live and provide real value to these expatriate groups, and therefore have developed a series of materials, many technical in nature, focusing on the key financial considerations including retirement planning, funding children’s education, investment ideas and the tax implications of returning home, amongst other important areas."

Through the new proposition, the company aims to help its third-party distribution partners have more meaningful conversations with these strategic customer segments to achieve their financial goals.
