Henri Moudi, a former leader of Thomas Weisel Asset Management, has launched an independent investment advisory firm, Mission Creek Capital Partners.
Mission Creek Capital Partners, headquartered in San Francisco, will provide individualized and differentiated private equity distribution management and advisory services on a discretionary basis for select institutional and private clients.

Mission Creek currently manages customized distribution management mandates for institutional clients with combined private equity commitments approaching US$3 billion.
Mission Creek will offer customized private equity distribution management services to private equity limited partners, executives and entrepreneurs on a separately managed account basis.
Moudi said: "Private equity investors face multiple challenges managing stock distributions from general partners and are looking for an independent, unconflicted provider that can best meet their individualized requirements."
Alongside Moudi, Charles Gehring will be a managing director at the newly created firm. He has spent the past decade at Insight Capital Research & Management.
