Schroders’ former CIO Alan Brown has resigned from the board of the Investment Management Association (IMA).
Brown became a board member at the IMA in January 2010.

Brown was most recently senior adviser to the UK-listed fund manager Schroders before retiring last month.
He also served as group CIO at Schroders between 2005 and 2012.
Currently, The IMA board members include Jasper Berens from JPMorgan Asset Management, Gervais Williams from Miton Group, and Thomas Rampulla from Vanguard.
The IMA is now undergoing a strategic review following the hire of Newton’s chief executive Helena Morrissey as its chair. Kit has also merged with Association of British Insurers’ (ABI) investment division on n 30 June 2014.
