Former-Invesco sales director Craig Newman has reportedly joined Oakley Capital as head of retail asset management.

Newman left Invesco in November 2012. He joined Invesco in 1993 as regional sales manager for the north of England, according to fundweb.

The departure comes as it was confirmed that Invesco’s investments head Neil Woodford also joining Oakley Capital.

Woodford is set to leave Invesco on 29 April 2014 and will join Oakley Capital on 1 May 2014. He will make use of Oakley Capital’s infrastructure for his investment needs as he establishes his new venture.
