First Names Group, a trust, fund and corporate services provider, has named Jean Pierre (JP) Koolmees as new head of its Asian operations.
Based in Singapore, Koolmees will report to group CEO Cengiz Soma. He will also sit on the group’s management committee.

Koolmees will be responsible for managing both First Names Group and its subsidiary fund business Moore Management across the Asia-Pacific region.
Additionally, he will further develop and implement the Asia business strategy and growth plans covering important and new investor segments across the Group’s offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan. Koolmees will work closely with the respective teams on the ground across Asia.
Prior to joining First Names Group, Koolmees worked with Vistra in Singapore, which he founded in 2010. At Vistra, he was responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the business and its 120+ employees.
The company’s growth in Asia will further expand its global presence through its flagship offices in both Hong Kong and Singapore.
