First American Trust has named Mark Monaco as new vice president, wealth management and Keegan Burke as vice president, wealth management advisor for the San Diego region.

In its release, First American Trust noted that as part of the wealth management team, Monaco will administer trust and investment management accounts for First American Trust clients and will support the expansion of other sales channels.
Monaco previously served as head of institutional sales, director of marketing, and vice president of sales and marketing for three companies that were subsequently acquired by Fortune 500 companies Charles Schwab, Nasdaq OMX and Archer Daniels Midland.
First American Trust said that as wealth management advisor, Burke will advise high net-worth individuals and families to craft customized plans in the areas of investment management, wealth advisory and trust planning. Burke will collaborate with families to help preserve, protect and grow their wealth so they may focus on their priorities of family, business and philanthropy.

Burke also has extensive experience with real estate and real estate financing for both primary and secondary markets. He has completed the CFP certification education program and has held Series 7, Series 66, life, health and disability insurance licenses.
