Fiduciary Trust Company International, an affiliate of Franklin Templeton Investments, has named Jeffrey MacDonald as new director of fixed income strategies, replacing Ronald Sanchez.
In his new role, MacDonald will be responsible for overseeing Fiduciary Trust’s fixed income effort.

Additionally, he will also develop fixed income policy and strategy for the firm and also lead Fiduciary Trust’s team of dedicated fixed income staff and manage client portfolios on behalf of individuals, families and institutions.
MacDonald, who joined Fiduciary Trust in 2013, previously served as managing director and senior portfolio manager of fixed income strategies at Fiduciary Trust.
Prior to this, he worked as head of traditional strategies at Cutwater Asset Management where he led a team of seven portfolio managers.
