Fiduciary Trust Company, a US-based investment manager, has appointed Hans Olsen as its new CIO.
In the new role, Olsen will manage the strategic direction of the firm’s multi-asset class investments. His responsibilities cover management of investment strategy, strategic and tactical asset allocation, portfolio construction, as well as manager due diligence and selection in public and private markets.

Olsen most recently served as the global head of investment strategy at Stifel Nicolaus and CIO of its Delaware Trust Company.
He joined Stifel in 2015 following its takeover of the US wealth management business of Barclays, where he served as the global head of investment strategy, head of the global asset allocation committee, and CIO of the Delaware Trust Company.
He formerly also held the roles of CIO at the private wealth management arm of JP Morgan in the US, and CIO at Bingham Legg Advisors.
