Fiduciary Trust Company International, an affiliate of Franklin Templeton Investments, has appointed Ronald Sanchez as new chief investment officer, replacing Mackintosh Pulsifer, who will quit from his role on 1 June 2014.

Additionally, Pulsifer will become a senior advisor to the investment department, where he will work with individual clients and participating in the formulation of strategic and tactical investment policy and will continue to serve on Fiduciary’s Board of Directors.

Sanchez, who has joined Fiduciary Trust in 1993, has been responsible for the development of fixed income strategies and management of fixed income portfolios for individuals and family groups.

Previously, Sanchez has also served as co-chairman of the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee since 2007 and as a member of the fixed income policy committee of Franklin Templeton.

Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust in 1988, Pulsifer has served at an investment counsel firm based in New York for 15 years.
