F&C’s former head of UK equities Peter Lees has departed from the company following a nine-year tenure.
His departure comes a few months after he was replaced as manager of the £78m F&C UK Alpha fund. Lees ran the fund since 2008, which he handed over to Michael Ulrich and Tom Wilson.

Lees had continued to work on the £40m Global Thematic Opportunities fund as well as the global equities teams.
At the time of his exit, Lees was designated in the role of a director in the UK equities team.
Before joining F&C, Lees served as head of equities at Deutsche Asset Management, where he worked from 1992.
