The watchdog believes that this firm, dubbed Cavendish Investor Wealth Management, has been targeting UK investors and offering financial services or products in the UK without its authorisation.

The firm has given its address as 25 Canada Square, London, E14 5LQ, website as www.cavendish-investor.co.uk, and info@cavendish-investor.co.uk as its email address.

"You should also be aware that if you give money to an unauthorised firm, you will not be covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service or Financial Services Compensation Scheme if things go wrong," the regulator said to investors.

FCA has hence, asked investors to deal with only authorized firms, check the financial services register to know the details of such regulated firms, and contact consumer helpline if they get to know about any unauthorised firm.
