EY is expected to start trading in Gibraltar in September 2013 upon receiving FSC approval.
The new member firm, which will employ about 40 people, will be led by the current Baker Tilly Gibraltar chairman, Jose Julio Pisharello.
The firm will offer audit, tax, accountancy and general business consultancy services to Gibraltar-based businesses.
Pisharello was quoted by Gibraltar Chronicle as saying that he was looking forward to join the EY network and have the opportunity to access the company’s technical resources and specialised training.
