Swiss-based audit and advisory firm EY has named Marcel Stalder as new member to its board of directors replacing Stephan Kuhn.

In his new role, Stalder will lead the Financial Services Organization (FSO) and also serve as a member of the executive committee in Switzerland.
EY said that FSO provides auditing as well as corporate, transaction, tax and legal consulting for banks, insurance companies and wealth & asset management institutions in Switzerland.
Stalder, who joined EY in 1996, previously served as a member of the FSO management team for the EMEIA Region. He was also instrumental in building up EY's insurance sector.
Additionally, Stalder will work alongside country managing partner Bruno Chiomento, who will remain in his role as the third member of the board of directors of EY Switzerland.
