Former chief equity strategist at JPMorgan, Thomas Lee, has established a new independent fundamental strategy and research boutique called Fundstrat Global Advisors for institutional investors.
Headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, Fundstrat offers a range of research products including U.S. equity strategy, small and mid-cap stock research, customized bespoke research, and quantitative and stock selection tools to support portfolio managers, investment strategists and analysts.

Lee has also partnered with John Bai former head of Asia and U.S. equity sales at Mizuho Securities and head of hedge funds sales at CLSA to launch the new firm.
Additionally, Fundstrat Global Advisors is planning to recruit new staff to manage sector-specific research and economic analysis.
Lee said: "We will only succeed by helping our clients succeed. By combining a deep understanding of cyclical tendencies in the equity markets and the macro environment, with bottom-up stock specific research, we believe we can deliver practical and useful investment insights."
