As part of the deal, Morgado will manage the W4i funds, including W4i Iberian Opportunities, W4i European Opportunities and W4i European Dividend.
Morgado said: "A first change is taking place in the distribution networks where, although still remaining very important, they will be giving way to finance quality management and asset managers as key decision making element for saver, when choosing a fund.
"A second change is true "active" management will gain importance. The third change is with the fact that the investor wants more transparency and needs a manager fully aligned and committed with what we call "active social responsibility."
