The firm has appointed Keith Magnus, currently chairman and head of Singapore and Malaysia investment banking at UBS, as a senior managing director to lead the new office.

In his role, Magnus will focus on providing strategic, merger & acquisitions and capital markets advice to companies in Singapore and throughout Southeast Asia. Magnus is also a member of the Singapore Management Committee. He has about ten years of experience working at Deutsche Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and UBS.

Magnus has advised on various public transactions aggregating in excess of SGD40 billion in mergers & acquisitions and capital raisings for financial institutions and corporates spanning a wide spectrum of industries, including for GIC, Temasek, Changi Airport Group, UOB Bank, Keppel, Wilmar, YTL, Olam, Bayan Resources and certain other Temasek-linked entities.
