Evercore has hired Lea Lazaric Calvert as the new managing director for its private capital advisory business.

Calvert will be responsible for advising financial institutional investors and fund sponsors on secondary transactions. She will be based in London in the new role.
Calvert, who will join Evercore in July 2015, has advised several private equity general partners across the globe.
Calvert will join Evercore from UBS, where she served as an executive director and was a member of the Private Funds Group. At UBS, she was tasked with coverage of various institutional investors in countries such as the UK, Germany and Switzerland.
Before joining UBS’s private funds group, she served at UBS’s equity capital markets division in London.
