US-based wealth technology firm Eton Solutions has launched EtonAxis, a new platform designed to support private equity (PE) fund managers worldwide. 

Eton said that several international PE firms have adopted its new solution for managing deal workflows, onboarding investors, sharing documents, and collaborating with portfolio companies. 

According to the company, PE firms often manage multiple funds simultaneously, using manual processes, which makes scaling operations challenging. 

EtonAxis aims to centralise these activities on a single platform, allowing for automation of routine tasks and streamlining of complex processes.

EtonAxis provides fund managers with a complete record of accounting, investment, and capital books, which is updated daily to maintain a single source of information. 

The platform enables investors to view shareholding details across layered entity structures and allows fund managers to monitor deals and investor onboarding throughout the deal lifecycle. 

Its digital onboarding process seeks to simplify investor entry. 

EtonAxis platform supports secure document sharing among investors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to facilitate faster transactions. 

It also offers tools for collaboration with portfolio companies, enabling secure sharing of updates and information relevant to deal closures and quarterly valuations. 

The platform automates the fund accounting to reduce the time required for net asset value (NAV) calculations. 

Treasury management functions within EtonAxis include processing automated cash activities, real-time payments, and transaction updates within a single workflow. 

Its global dashboard provides fund managers with detailed insights into funds, deals, and investors to support decision-making. 

Furthermore, the platform manages partnership and expense allocation, calculating management and performance fees and providing audit trails for transparency.
