Jonathan Wheeler has been hired as head of Middle East by Equiom, a company that offers corporate, family office, and private client services.

Having worked internationally for more than 28 years in the UK, USA, Western Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Wheeler has occupied a number of high-level leadership roles, such as TMF Group’s regional director for the Middle East & Africa and group director for strategy & strategic partnerships. He is a vital part of Equiom’s leadership team due to his broad experience in corporate governance, risk management, financial services, and corporate structuring.

Moreover, Wheeler is in charge of spearheading the firm’s expansion in important regions, creating cutting-edge solutions to assist Equiom’s corporate and private clientele, and preserving Equiom’s dominant position in the industry as the Middle East’s regional lead for the company.

Further to his managerial duties, Wheeler has been a serving director on several boards in Europe and the Middle East, working with regulated firms in Mauritius, Switzerland, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi.

His experience with a variety of securitisation and capital market structures, including Shariah-compliant options, enhances Equiom’s capacity to provide solution-focused services to both private and sovereign investors.
