Emirates NBD, a banking giant in UAE, has introduced tablet-based financial planning solution, ‘Tablet Banking Service’ for its wealth management advisors and priority banking relationship managers.
The one-of-its-kind application is designed to provide relationship managers with access to the customer information through the secure tablet banking interface and offer them an ideal asset management strategy evaluating different financial options from the bank’s product menu.

Emirates NBD head of Multichannel & Customer Relationship Management Pedro Cardoso said that the company heavily focusses on introducing the next generation of technology based banking for customers.
"We have launched the "Tablet Banking Service" for financial planning first, but we intend to expand the proposition to have transactional capabilities and instant sales generation abilities in the months to come. With the launch of Tablet Banking Service, the complete banking experience for Priority Banking clients has now become simpler, interactive, effective and less time consuming," added Cardoso.
In addition to risk assessment options, Emirates NBD has equipped the app with its Wealth Optimizer tool that features the investment requirements of its affluent customers.
The Tablet Banking Service adds to Emirates NBD’s other technology initiatives that include a Mobile Banking platform Interactive Teller Machine and a fully new CRM system.
