EFG International has continued its onshore
drive overseas, adding an office in Key Biscayne, Florida, to
recent openings in Shanghai and Demark.

Key Biscayne is the bank’s fourth office in
the US, adding to locations in Miami, New York and Los Angeles. It
will be headed by Mario Fernández , who has 20 years of financial
services experience and previously provided wealth advisory
services to international families.

He is supported by Alexandra Rumie, Jeanette
Barker, Henry de Valle and María Luisa De Jesús, a team with a team
which a combined 75 years of relevant experience, according to a
statement.  It has 145 US-based employees, up 65 percent since
2007.

been based in Key Biscayne for almost a decade, helping families

The private bank also recently obtained a
banking licence in France and rebranded its business there to EFG
Banque Privée.
