EFG International has appointed Daniel Furtwangler as the new managing director, and member of the senior management team of its Continental Europe business.
Furtwangler will be responsible for driving growth in diverse markets across Western Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean in the new capacity, which he will assume on 1 November of this year.

He will be based in Zurich reporting to Adrian Kyriazi, CEO, Continental Europe and private banking head, Switzerland.
Furtwangler previously served at Coutts, where he worked for 17 years. There he was responsible for developing and implementing strategies for various markets and client segments, both onshore as well as offshore.
He served in the role of a member of Coutts’ general management committee and market head Western Europe from 2010.
