EFG International has appointed Stephan Keiser as head of private banking for Zurich, Switzerland, effective January 2014.

In his new role, Keiser will report to the company’s CEO John Williamson.

Keiser joins EFG from Bank Vontobel, where he was head of private banking international from 2006. He was responsible for Latin America, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Italy and was also team leader of private banking for Asia-Pacific at Bank Vontobel.

Prior to Bank Vontobel, Keiser has worked at Julius Baer between 1998 and 2003 and also at Bank Falck & Co as well as UBS.
