EFG International, a Zurich-based private bank, has hired Adrian Kyriazi as regional business head for Continental Europe and Switzerland, effective 14 July 2014.

Additionally, Kyriazi will also serve as a member of both the EFG International and EFG Bank executive committees, pending regulatory approval.

Kyriazi will be replacing John Williamson, CEO, EFG International for Switzerland and Alain Diriberry, chairman, private banking Geneva for Continental Europe.

Prior to joining EFG, Kyriazi worked with Credit Suisse as managing director and market group head for Greece, and Central and Eastern Europe from 2010-2014.

Previously, he also worked for 19 years at HSBC in several roles including managing director, private banking and Co-CEO, HSBC Private Bank, Monaco; CEO of West Coast Region, USA, HSBC Private Bank and CEO of Global practices, HSBC Private Bank.
