EFG Asset Management (EFGAM) has launched an all-cap UK equity fund for new recruit John Leahy, to bolster its pan European and global equity franchise.
The New Capital UK Select Equity Fund, which is launched by EFGAM’s mutual funds brand New Capital, will typically invest in 35 to 45 UK stocks across all market capitalisations.

Leahy recently joined EFGAM and its London-based pan European equity team from Hermes, where he spent 14 years running UK smaller company strategies, including the Hermes UK Small and Mid Cap UCITS fund.
