Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (EdRAM) has named Jean-Philippe Desmartin as the new head of its responsible investment team.
Desmartin will be based in Paris and will report to EdRAM CIO Philippe Uzan.

He most recently served as the head of environmental, socials and governance (ESG) research at Oddo Securities, a role he held since 2005. He set up his own consultancy businesses, named Desmartin Conseil, in 2004.
Prior to this, Desmartin worked as a project manager at the Alpha Group, and head of development at extra-financial agency ARESE.
At the same time, he is also a member of various working groups and international committees seeking to further ESG issues such as the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies and the International Corporate Governance Network.
