Edmond de Rothschild, a Swiss private banking and asset management group, has appointed Robert Jenkins as its new chief brand and marketing officer.

Jenkins will help strengthen the Edmond de Rothschild brand across the globe and across all business lines of the firm.

In the new role, he will particularly focus on digital platforms and will be responsible for strengthening the employer brand and employee engagement.

He will be based in Geneva, and will report to Edmond de Rothschild chair of the executive committee Ariane de Rothschild. Jenkins will also join the Edmond de Rothschild executive committee.

Jenkins has an experience of over three decades in brand and marketing strategy. He joins Edmond de Rothschild from BNP Paribas Wealth Management in Paris, where he most recently served as head of brand and communications.

He joined BNP Paribas in London in 2006 as UK head of brand and communications, and before that served for eight years as head of communications Europe at Barclays Global Investors (now Blackrock).
