India-based Edelweiss Financial Services has hired Riyaz Marfatia as new managing partner for global wealth management.
In his new role, Marfatia will be heading the financial advisory business for the Western region.

Marfatia will report to Anshu Kapoor, head-global wealth management at Edelweiss Financial Services.
Prior to joining Edelweiss, Marfatia worked with HDFC Bank for 15 years managing a team of 50 senior advisors in the bank’s private banking business.
He has more than 19 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector, particularly in the private banking and wealth management, treasury, asset products, channel management and audit verticals.
