Edelman Financial Services, a US-based financial planning and investment management firm, has appointed Ryan Parker as its new CEO.
Parker will lead the company’s daily operations, and will assist its founder and executive chairman Ric Edelman in establishing the firm’s strategic direction.

"My wife Jean and I created the firm 30 years ago, but as the firm has grown, more of my time has been diverted to management activities. Ryan’s addition will enable me to focus on what matters most: our clients," Edelman said.
Parker, with 18 years of experience in the financial services sector, most recently served as a managing director of Investment and Planning Solutions at LPL Financial.
Before joining LPL, he served at Russell Investments, Franklin Templeton Investments and Putnam Investments.
The company provides financial planning and investment management services for over 30,000 individuals and families, and manages $16bn in assets.
