ECP Asset Management, an Australia-based equities manager, has opened a new national office in Sydney.
In addition, the firm has also boosted its investment team by appointing Andrew Dale as a portfolio manager in the new Sydney office.

The new office will enable the firm to more closely work with our institutional clients in Sydney and Melbourne.
Prior to joining ECP Asset Management, Dale served at Macquarie Bank as managing director, global natural resources. Previously, he has also held several roles with ABN Amro, Yahoo and KPMG.
ECP chairman and CEO Dr Manny Pohl said the investments within client’s portfolios were performing strongly leading to increasing demand.
Pohl said: "We launched our funds management business less than 12 months ago. Our flagship strategy, the ECP AM EX50 strategy, is performing extremely well and our funds under management has been rising steadily.
