Eaton Vance Management (International), a subsidiary of Eaton Vance, has named Christopher Dyer as its new director of global equity and Aidan Farrell as global small-cap portfolio manager, effective from 15 June.
Dyer will build and lead a global equity investment team as well as manage global and international equity portfolios.

Farrell will manage global and international small-cap equity portfolios, where he will spearhead a team of analysts, and work with the director of global equity to expand the global equity business.
The duo will be based in London and will be affiliated with Eaton Vance’s equity group in their new capacities, working closely with chief equity investment officer Edward Perkin.
Dyer most recently held the role of managing director and head of European equity for Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he worked for almost 14 years.
He also served as lead portfolio manager for Goldman Sachs Europe Equity Partners Portfolio and Goldman Sachs Strategic European Equity Strategy as well as co-lead portfolio manager for Goldman Sachs Global Responsible Equity Fund.

By GlobalDataFarrell previously served in the role of managing director for Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He also served as lead portfolio manager for the Goldman Sachs International Small Cap Equity Fund and the Goldman Sachs European Small & Mid Cap Equity Strategy.
Before June 2008, he worked as the director of European equities for Insight Investment (formerly the asset management unit of Halifax Bank of Scotland) and was the lead portfolio manager for the European Small Cap Equity Strategy, and portfolio manager for European Large / Mid Cap and UK Large Cap strategies.
