Eastspring Investments, the asset management unit of Prudential Corporation Asia, has hired Xavier Meyer as new head of product strategy and development team.
Based in Singapore, Meyer will report to Michele Bang, who is the deputy chief executive, reported Reuters.

In his new role, Meyer will develop the company’s new product strategies in Asia, Europe and the US.
Meyer joined Eastspring from BNP Paribas Investment Partners, where he served as head of product development and strategic marketing for Asia Pacific.
In addition, the firm has also hired Bill Barbour as new director of client portfolio management.
In his new role, Barbour will provide client support to the global emerging markets, emerging Asia, Latam and EMEA equity strategies and will also be based in Singapore.
