Eastspring Investments, Singapore-based asset management arm of Prudential Corporation Asia, has hired Tsukasa Sekizaki as president and chief executive officer of Eastspring Investments Japan.
Subject to formal approval, Sekizaki’s will take over his new role from mid-September.

Sekizaki joined Eastspring Investments Japan from Deutsche Bank Group, Japan, where he worked for 12 years, most recently as president and CEO of Deutsche Trust Company and Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management.
Prior to this, he worked with Fidelity Investments (Japan) for nearly 15 years and also held distribution leadership roles with several global fund houses based in Japan.
Sekizaki’s hire follows the resignation of Koji Wada who is departing the firm to pursue other opportunities.
