Deutsche Bank AG has appointed Bruno Hallak as chief country officer for France, succeeding Marc Pandraud, Bloomberg reported.

According to the publication, Pandraud will become head of client franchise development and vice chairman of corporate finance for Europe, the Middle East and Africa on 1 June 2013.

Hallak was formerly head of investment-banking coverage and advisory for France.

The German bank has selected Emmanuel Hasbanian and Julien Fabre to replace Hallak in that role.

According to data compiled by Bloomberg, Deutsche Bank is the third-ranked adviser on French mergers this year.
