Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (Deutsche AWM) has hired Santiago Trigo as the new managing director and market head for the combined region of Southern Cone and Andean.

Based in Miami, Trigo will be responsible for executing the regional strategy and delivering Deutsche AWM’s wealth management platform to this region in Latin America.

Trigo joins Deutsche AWM with 25 years of financial industry experience. Most recently, he was a market manager at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, overseeing the growth strategy for their private banking business in Mexico.

Prior to J.P. Morgan, he spent 10 years at Bank of America with the emerging markets debt trading group as a trader and trading manager.

Santiago’s proven track record and deep client relationships will play an important role as we grow our presence in the region."
