Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (Deutsche AWM) has hired Nicholas Angilletta as managing director and head of wealth management capital markets in the Americas.

Based in New York, Angilletta will be responsible for overseeing the trading activities of Deutsche AWM’s wealth management capital markets business in the Americas.

He will report directly to Yves Dermaux, the head of the solutions & trading group for Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, and regionally to Jerry Miller, head of Deutsche AWM in the Americas.

Angilletta joined from Morgan Stanley, where he worked at the firm’s wealth management capital markets space and was most recently managing director and the director of capital markets and consulting group sales strategy.

He has also held various roles at the firm including head of sales for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s Global Investment Solutions and asset management business and head of Smith Barney’s private client sales and trading desks.
