Taylor will report to DeAWM co-chief investment officers Randy Brown and Asoka Woehrmann.
Woehrmann was quoted by Wealth Manager as saying that investing in emerging markets requires a high degree of skill, not least because of the influence of global volatility on the asset class’ risk profile.
"Sean’s deep knowledge of the country group — acquired over more than 20 years — allows him to take a holistic approach that incorporates global, local and sector viewpoints," Woehrmann said.
DeAWM, which represents the asset management and wealth management activities conducted by Deutsche Bank, currently manages about 7.5 billion in emerging market equities.
