Deloitte Global (Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu) has named Punit Renjen as new CEO, replacing Barry Salzberg effective 1 June 2015.
In his new role, Renjen will join a growing rank of Indians who head global corporations and financial institutions.

Renjen, who has been working with Deloitte for over 27 years, has held a number of roles including chairman and CEO of Deloitte Consulting and as chairman of Deloitte LLP.
He also serves as a member of the board of directors of Deloitte Global and as chairman of the Deloitte Foundation board of directors.
"Renjen’s leadership appointment is part of a rigorous and comprehensive nomination and member firm partner ratification process that occurs every four years and includes all member firms of the Deloitte worldwide network," Deloitte said.
Deloitte’s global network includes 47 member-firms operating in 150 countries and employs 200, 000 people worldwide.
